Okay… I’m really beginning to feel like I’m the princess in ‘The Princess and the Pea’. Its like my skin is totally allergic to seriously everything around. I took a blood test and I’m more allergic to dust in the air than food ( so at least I still get to eat).
Of course that also [...]

I’m about to start using the Philosophy Skin Care Line and I don’t know what to buy. I’ve heard tons of good reviews about the purity and hope in a jar moisturizer. I need a list of the products that I should buy for the first time. Almost like a starter kit. I need like [...]

I don’t believe in all the claims the companies make, and I also feel a bit suspicious of the looong list of chemicals on the labels of most of these products! A lot of what you put on your skin is absorbed into your body, and many of the ingredients they use are quite toxic.
Personally I use organic skincare – a mixture of home-made products (oats, avacado, almond oil and honey can all be used!) and products from health-food shops that are paraban and sodium Laureth sulphate free. I particularly like Jasons Organics products, which are not too expensive for my student budget! Neals Yard is apparently nice, but a bit pricier – I don’t know if you can get their stuff in the US (I’m in the UK).
